About Nancy

Nancy Levine is an actor and comedienne whose work lives at the intersection of sharp character work, grounded truth, and fearless comedy. Trained in theater and tested on stage, she brings a strong actor's toolkit to every performance — whether it's a scripted scene, a solo show, or a stand-up set that turns on a dime.

Her stage credits span plays, musicals, and original work, and she has appeared in numerous live shows, festivals, and independent projects. Nancy is especially drawn to roles that let her explore the messy, funny, complicated women the world doesn't always make room for — the best friend, the scene-stealer, the woman of a certain age who refuses to shrink.

She is also the creator of the wildly popular "Bad Substitute" character — born from years as a K–5 substitute teacher — whose rants have drawn tens of thousands of views across TikTok and Instagram. The character is a showcase for her comedic timing, physicality, and gift for turning real life into unforgettable performance.

Nancy is based in the New York area and available for stage, screen, voiceover, and commercial work.

“Andrea Martin's little sister.” — People always tell me I look like her.
